Motorcycle Ringtones... Ringtones... Ringtones...

Ringtones, Ringtones, and More Ringtones

I'm sure you've noticed that there are "Ringtone" ads in various places on this site. This is because Google AdSense (which provides our main advertising revenue at present) seems to think that Ringtone ads are appropriate for a motorcycle-related site. Apparently, there are people who enjoy buying and downloading ringtones and are interested in seeing ringtone ads.

Are people visiting this site really looking for the "best ringtones"?

Advertisements - Story Continues Below

Roadcarvin.com does not review or endorse the advertisers appearing above.

And, exhaust ringtones and motorcycle ringtones seems to be the most common types of ringtone ads.

Sorry, there's really nothing we can do about this at present. We used to spend a lot of time trying to exclude the ringtone advertisers from our site (Google AdSense allows us to block up to 200 advertisers) but ultimately, we get tired of worrying about it. So we cleared out our advertiser block list and now, we have ringtone ads again.

I've even seen ads for "Fart Ringtones" on one of my other sites - I'm not even sure what a "Fart Ringtone" sounds like. Have you ever heard one? What do they sound like? Do they smell, too? Should I use the vibrate feature when I select a fart ringtone?

In case it's not obvious, I think that ringtone ads are a strange phenomenon, but we can't do much about them, so we will allow them to show on our site.

So, do ringtone ads annoy you? Or do you like them? Do you want us to try to block them from our site? Doing so would pretty much require getting rid of AdSense, since there's no good way to be sure the ringtones ads won't appear.

Do you want us to start hosting motorcycle-related ringtones for downloading? Is that a useful feature?

Leave a comment and let us know!

Ring your bell

I dunno, I think exhaust ringtones sounds kinda funny. Harley ringtones are cool, too.
