CTEK Motorcycle Battery Chargers

During these cold winter months your battery will discharge and will probably have a shortened life unless you keep the battery charged. CTEK technology ensures that the charger does not burn out the battery under prolonged charging. The CTEK chargers also have built in short circuit and polarity protection, and are designed to minimize gassing during charging.

CTEK has formed original equipment partnerships with Aston Martin, Bentley, Ferrari, Maybach, Mercedes-Benz, Harley-Davidson Sweden and Porsche. According to the CTEK representatives we spoke to, some of these vehicles provide special mounts for the CTEK charger, and is available as an accessory for maintenance charging whenever you need it.

CTEK currently has three models:

CTEK Multi US 3300 Package: The CTEK Multi US 3300 package includes the battery charger, connectors, case and manual.
CTEK Multi US 3300 Package: The CTEK Multi US 3300 package includes the battery charger, connectors, case and manual.
CTEK US 800 - An excellent choice for charging and maintenance of small 12V lead-acid batteries up to 100 Ah. Ideal uses include motorcycles, snowmobiles, ATV's and riding lawn mowers. This charger can also be used for maintenance charging on car batteries. List price $49.99.

CTEK Multi US 3300 - Shown at left. This charger builds on the capabilities of the US 800 model, and is ideal for cars, trucks, boats and campers. The mode button is used to easily select the vehicle type (battery size). This model also includes a mode for cold weather charging of automotive batteries. This charger is also recommended for Optima Red Top Batteries. List price $69.99.

CTEK Multi US 7000 - Designed to charge and maintain large batteries found in RV's and large boats as well as all other batteries. List price $139.99.

The chargers are very compact and have a clean, sleek design. During my charging tests the charger was silent. The charger did become warm to the touch, but not unreasonably so.

CTEK Multi US 3300 - Hawk GT: The CTEK Multi US 3300 is compact and fit perfectly in the tail section of my Hawk GT during charging.

My Honda Hawk GT battery was discharged and would only click the starter. After charging the battery overnight the bike fired right up. As you can see in the photo, the battery charger fits nicely in the rear tail section during charging.

I tested this charger on my Honda CBR954RR. After an overnight maintenance charge the bike started immediately - no need to lean on the starter as is sometimes necessary when the battery is not fully charged.

The CTEK charger really is impressive for the size. I liked the ease of use, compact size, and quality of the components - it's a pleasure to use this charger to maintain and extend the life of my batteries.

CTEK Multi US 3300 Connectors: The CTEK Multi US 3300 connectors are insulated and high quality.

The connectors are completely shrouded and worked well on the small motorcycle battery terminals. Other chargers I have used do not have the shrouded connectors and I alway s worry about them slipping off or shorting out.

CTEK also has one of the coolest rolling advertisements: the BIGTOE is a massive monster truck inspired motorcycle that features a 300HP Jaguar V-12 engine. The bike is huge! Length is 15' 4", height is variable between 5' 7" - 7' 6" and weighs 3,600 lbs. Tires are Firestone 18.4 - 34 for a true monster bike look.

It appears that there's a monster-sized battery charger that goes with this toy - judging from the size of it, I'd be careful not to touch the live wires!
