The 2nd annual bike show and parts extravaganza did not disappoint. There was a wide variety of American v-twins and metric cruisers on display. From his humble beginnings in 1967, custom painting his Harley-Davidson Knucklehead and winning the first show in which it was entered, Arlen Ness has built an empire with hard work and innovative design.

It's no surprise that Arlen's son Cory has been around motorcycles all his life and has the Ness gift for unique designs. Cory is Chief Designer for Arlen Ness Enterprises, and in this role he builds his own rolling artwork.

Ness Customs

Arlen Ness is considered by many to be the king of choppers, having created an impressive array of custom bikes during his career -- innovative and creative designs that were clearly ahead of their time.

Highly Customized Motorcycles

Custom motorcycles have come along way from simple paint jobs and a few accessories. Paint jobs are airbrushed masterpieces -- many showcasing integrated design themes, unique custom frames, seats and the use of chromed and painted components -- these define the modern custom motorcycle.

Attention to Detail

It's worth taking some time to look deeply at the custom choppers - the attention to detail is just amazing, even if you think you've seen everything.

Vintage Display

The vintage motorcycle display of Harley-Davidsons and Indians was one of my favorite areas. If you take time to study the vintage bikes you see the influence on some of today's customs.
